Dear Fellow Toastmasters,In a blink of an eye we are now entering the last month of our 3rd Quarter for this term, how time flies!
Are you enjoying your Toastmasters journey so far? I hope you do.
March is the time we submit our semi-annual April dues to World HQ and as we all know the deadline is April 1st, 2011. However, due to modification of TI website, we can only submit our April dues from March 9th 2011. So there is only a 3-week time span left to submit our dues this time.
Let us submit early to avoid last-minute congestion.
The submission of the April dues will earn your club a half point for the Distinguished Club Program. Besides, the dues will also enable your representative to be eligible for the Area, Division and District Contests if they qualify.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that can function smoothly when dues are paid on time. A certain percentage of our dues are ploughed back to our District for its various activities that enhance learning and membership growth.
March is also the time for Toastmasters Awareness Month campaign. It is the time Vice President Membership, and Vice President Public Relations together with their club members work closely with their Area Council and Division Council with the guidance of District Public Relations Officer to promote Toastmasters awareness to their community.
- Let us distribute fliers to passer-bys in the streets.
- Let us send emails to country managers or HR managers of multi-national corporations and listed local companies.
- Let us share the many benefits of Toastmasters to add value to people’s lives.
